Fresno is the largest city in the Central Valley but it is not a major carrier hub. It sits on Highway 99, which is the main inland California artery running from Bakersfield in the south to Sacramento in the north. I-5 runs parallel about 45 minutes to the west but bypasses Fresno entirely. That is the honest reality of this market.
