Wichita sits at the junction of I-35 and I-135, which gives it more connectivity than most people realize. I-35 runs north through Oklahoma City toward Kansas City and south into Oklahoma. I-135 connects Wichita to Salina and links back to I-70, the main east west transcontinental highway through Kansas.
