Detroit is a unique market in auto transport. It is not as simple as just being a high volume hub, and here is why. The Motor City has enormous carrier activity because of the auto industry itself. Downtown Milwaukee has some tight streets so carriers may request a meetup near a commercial lot, but that is not common. Winter is the main wildcard. Lake Michigan weather can bring heavy lake-effect snow that slows carriers down on the final approach regardless of interstate conditions.
